where can i find a 15x7 steel wheel that will fit the 66 fairlane dog dish

Im thinking of putting some dog dish caps on my falcon, anyone know where i can locate some steelies?

i may have a couple 15x7s laying around but i believe they are from a late model crown vic so im not sure if a dog dish cap will fit.

The only factory 15" steelies I'm aware of are for later model cars and have a different center section than the old style which would accept caps.

I would suggest you check out Stockton Wheel Service on-line and see what they've got. You might end up with a non-stock cap that would still look right.

I have been thinking of doing this with my '64 - I have four origional dog dish caps. But I really want the light weight of aluminum. So I looked at Wheel Vintiques (I thik it was) and they have billet copies of steel wheels (most any size and back apacing available) that look great but are expensive. They take a 39/40 ford cap though so I would have to use a baby moon. Really, I am looking for something different (Oh please, not another set of Torq Thrust II's!). American Racing has a copy of the minilite wheels out that looks very nice.

For stock wheels try 65 up Galaxie. They had 15" wheels with 5"x4 1/2" bolt pattern.
