molding clips and windshield trim

64 TBOLT, sorry you had to sell, if I hadn't already invested in the one I have now I would have jumped at buying yours.

Anyway, I just received my molding clips and windshield seal for our 63 Futura today. Because the molding was not on the car and the clips were gone I don't know how they attach. The instructions say to put them in the square holes and sqeeze the tabs to spread the fingers open, but they don't say which way the go. Does the long side go up and down or front to back? And then does the molding just suppose to snap on? I also haven't been able to find the clips that go on the ends (round holes that use the screws) from any parts dearlers.

Next, which is the best way to install the windsheild trim, before installing the windshield into the car or after?

Last, while at the junk yard looking for parts I noticed that the 6 cylinder models had a tubular cross member under the oil pan accross the motor mounts. Is this suppose to be there on ours?

It looks like I may have more questions later as this car was in a lot of pieces when I got it.

Dan,
On the windshield trim...you need to install the upper and lower trim peices before you pull windsheild into place.
