Question leaf sping help!!!!

I am moving my leaf springs in board. i need help with strut location. I am not sure if i can just mount the struts straight up and down or should the be a some sort of a angle. Please help

When I did mine I used the crites kit, lots of space now with the poor mans minitub.
Take the lower shock mount plates and swap the left to the right and the right to the left then flip them over. It gives an angle to the shock and runs it over the leaf spring. At first I thought it wouldn't work but it did fine. May need to trim back the area that mounts to leafspring so it will be flush like when the plates are right side up.
