Re: carpet kit for 65 falcon
If I remember right, I bought mine from ponypartsplus.com. There are quiet a few places selling them but, only a couple of places that make them. But, there are differences in the carpets.
The first one I ordered did not cover the rockers. It just laid flat in the floor. There was some scrap pieces in the box that was to be glued to the rocker channels and the metal in front of the rear seat that the seat rests on. That one was made by A-1 carpet in Ga. I called the factory and was told that was the way Ford installed them. I did a little research and found there is one made that covers the rockers and the seat support and it tucks under the door seal plates. That's the one I ended up with. Ask the salesman which one they have.
If you don't have the factory tunnel hump for the 4sp. you will need one to fit an automatic. Also there is a difference in bench seat and bucket seat carpet.
Good luck.
