61 comet v8 swap

hi i have a 61 mercury comet and im looking to do a 302 swap...now im not to familar with these cars..i know i have to do some suspension swaping but every where i look every one has a different way to do it..i just want to know what front suspension i can bolt up to make my car disc brakes..please helppp!!!...i found a few things on ebay but im so lost..

also can i switch it to disc brakes and still leave the straight six in it
