Trans ???ssss

Would a automatic out of a 1990 ford mustang 5.0 be a good trans for my car???, he says its a C4 but i think its an AOD???

I ran an AOD trans in my 61 with a 289 and worked just fine.

If its out of what you say its out of, its definitely an AOD. As long as you aren't putting a huge amount of power and abuse on it, it's a great trans to use, especially for cruising or daily driver use. Make sure you run a good trans cooler too.

I'm running an AOD behind a stroked 5.0 with zero issues. Love it.
