Where is Ras?

Anyone heard from Ras Daniel (Iethiopian) as of late. The last post I remember reading was when he was having rocker stud problems and that was quiet some time ago.
Hope everything is good with him. He is always very helpful on the Falcons.

Re: Where is Ras?

Hey guys, I'm still around and in the shadows...and like Gary said I have been "deployed and hella busy". Wow, I feel all warm fuzzy inside right now.

Thanks for the heads up Dave and always for the great Falcon pics, where are you on that ranchero project?

I have seen Rick's new vids with the new slicks on the Ranchero...way to go man, that Chero is a beast!

Tyler, I followed up on that broken rocker arm problem long ago. AFR sent me a new set of ARP's and I got them all on and dialed in again. They had a bad batch of non ARP studs go out a while back. I found member in the Mustang Forums about a month back that had the same issue. I told him to contac AFR and sure enough they sent him a new set of studs.
I shared a while back a Del-alumn bushing upgrade I performed on my rear leaf springs. My interior is still waiting for me to get on it, still running metal floors boards with no carpet.
I have had a few guys PM me with some questions about this and that but have no idea what ever become of these guys as there is never a follow up? I think this is the new FM generation?
My Falcon is still running strong, no leaks or issues. I take it out on occasion and open it up just to hear those pipes sing.

Is it just me or have you guys also noticed that it cost more just to drive it around the block? I have a 26 mile commute (one way) to my shop in my truck each day and at the end of the week and even better at the end of the month can not believe my fuel cost. I'm a cabinet maker and our industry has been hit hard with the bottom falling out of the real estate market not to mention where the economy is heading.

My Son moved out to Orlando, Florida last November and is going to school there for recording engineering (so that Falcon project we started is now on hold). My Daughter just Graduated from PomonaCollege two weeks ago and was accepted into HarvardLawSchool. And then I have a butt load of drama going on with my Brother.

I went out to see the rods at the car show a couple of weeks ago in Santa Maria and then another this past weekend in Pomona at the Fairgrounds.
Other than that just holding down the fort guys.
Ras Daniel

Re: Where is Ras?

Good to hear from you Ras, hope business picks up for you soon. Yes, the gas thing is becoming a big problem for all of us.

Re: Where is Ras?

Hell I miss you! And where in the hell is that Falcon of yours, weren't you supposed to have that thing on the pavement like last year?
Like Gary said you gotta go out and break something.
