Question rear leaf spring relocation for 64 sprint HT

new to forum. just purchased my first falcon. Does anyone have any info on articles or companies that make a leaf spring relocation kit to run wider rear tires. I'm not having much success finding any info in previous threads. If so, does it adversly affect handling, gas tank, exhaust, etc...... Thanks in advance for any help

You may have already seen these and I also recall reading about a narrow leaf spring that gives you some clearance but may not be as much as you are looking for

Ras sent me this note a while back:
I bought their rear leaf spring set up (B) complete with bushings. The springs were 225.00 and the bushing set was another 98.00. There springs ate nearly flat which reduces the roll factor and are only 1 3/4 wide as opposed to the stock springs which are 2 1/2 which allow an extra 3/4 per side clearance. http://www.eps-hane.com/RearLeafSprings.html They were great guys to deal with even sent me picture of their panhard set up.

I'm running 17" rims with a 255/40 on the rear and did no tubbing, just a lot of measuring to get the right backset and offset. I have a 9" Versailles set up in the rear with disc brakes.

Not sure how useful this thread is but there is mention of a fiberglass leaf spring that I believe is narrower?

I am also looking into the rear coilover kit from Rod & Custom http://www.rcmotorsports.net/RearCoiloverKit.html

Talked with Willie there and the locating bars are narrower than a leaf spring so you get another inch clearance, will probably give you all you need without re-working the inner wheel housing. Solves the "axle hop" problem too.

I have their MII front end and the components and engineering are excellent. The rear setup is great for the street, have not decided yet due to the $$ dave
