64 Falcon & 65 Ranchero

Hey All

Looking for help. I have a 64 Falcon Convert with a 170 and a 65 Ranchero with a 289. Both are auto's. The Ranchero is not in great shape but the drive train is really stout. The Falcon has a great body and runs good but I would rather swap drivetrains. Do these swap out somewhat easy, want to switch the front and rear ends as well.

Thanks for your help

Should be a piece of cake. Everything should swap.

Re: 64 Falcon & 65 Ranchero

Whiskeyman, I did this on my 64 convertible swapping the components from my 65 ranchero. The only issue came with the leaf springs. The ranchero is longer than the futura body and hence so are the leaf springs. The ranchero is made from the wagon body or vice versa.
