help me pick a tranny

i have finally decided that i am going to use a 170ci motor in my 61 falcon project. i will probably go get the motor this weekend. i will bring the motor home and get the car ready for the drop in but i dont know what tranny i can use. i was wanting a manual but i dont want it on the column. an auto would be ok but i jus need to know what i could use. please someone help me

You can use ANY 3 speed toploader made for the 6 cyl engine.

I have a 3 speed out of a 66 mustang I'll sell you.

I also have a bell housing for it but the clutch arm pivot is missing and will need to be replaced with something.

I also have a flywheel for it that need's to be turned, but you gotta get your own clutch, becaus I don't have one...

The tranny is the famous 2.02 non synchroed 3 speed tranny and can be shifted through the floor. I also have a floor shift for a mustang but it's only partially complete, so forget I even said that... (They Bolt to the tail shaft of the tranny)
