Re: Sanderson Headers

WOW, TOTALLY not my experience with Sanderson Headers. Jeremy NEVER calls me back. I sent him pictures of my headers and he was supposed to call me and tell me how much it would cost to replicate them, he never did, I had to call him. Then I sent him my headers and he was supposed to call me when they got them, he never did, I had to call him. Then they told me it would take 2 months to replicate, not create, but replicate my headers. I don't have $4,000-$7,000 to spend on a tube bender so I sent them in. Then when I call back after a month and a half, they don't even know who I am! They charge me $600 up front but they don't remember who I am? So they finally figure out who I am and say they can still get them done in a couple weeks, so I wait 3 weeks and call them back, again they can't find my headers and don't know who I am, they figure it out and the guy who is "working" on my headers just happened to have stepped out for 20 minutes and they want me to call them back. So I call back in 30 minutes and he still hasn't talked to the guy. So he talks to the guy and tells me he's going to come in over the weekend and try to get them caught up, but he can't really give me a time when they will be done. Riiiiiiiight the guy is going to come in over Labor day weekend and "finish" them up. The LIAR'S they haven't even started on them I bet, and what's the saying don't buy something built on a Monday or a Friday? What kind of craftsmanship am I going to get when they were built on a holiday weekend? I'm safe though they won't get off their *** until next week I bet and it will end up being 3 months just to get some headers replicated. Sanderson Headers they don't flow.......THEY SUCK!

Thumbs down Re: Sanderson Headers

I had the same issue with no calls back from Windsor Fox in So.Calif. They took alot ofpeople's mony on up front deposits I was told about $476,000... went out of business and no address for the owners. If I was the the Atty General of the state where his business is/was, I would suggest any & everyone who had a bad experience with Sanderson or anybody to get to gether, write one letter signed by everyone to the atty general & trust me they will and can bring fraud charges if there are enough rip off victims out there. They WILL NOTt deal with one guy alone as it looks like a single dispute, but a pattern arises ifthere are alot of people...better to have a class action group. It works in several states where peoiple have been ripped off in loan remodification scams. This just gives the hobby a bad name.

Re: Sanderson Headers

Surprised about response re -Sanderson
I've called them on numerous occasions & they were extremely helpful,
People don;t react well to being threatened, deadlines are moved, stuff happens, especially with small companies,
order takers quit, messages get lost,
man Maybe a little diplomacy would get you further

Exclamation Re: Sanderson Headers

Nothing personal to the previous writer, but when you pay up front and TRUST the comapny to do what they promised and they don't deliver, then you raise heck. The guy has waited much too long for his pieces to be done. The 'diplomacy' route is exactly what some companies are counting on to put off people. And they " lie'? I would have demanded in a 'dplomatic' way my money back! If the previous writer lost $3,000 to Windsor Fox as I did, maybe he/she would have a different attitude. You pay for something--you expect the same in reasonable time. Try being diplomatic when you can't pay your mortgage or credit card when due! It cuts both ways. Get real dude!!! Life is not full of honest people in this economy. (Love these nieve people) To the person who is waiting & may have got ripped off, take a lesson & get it in writing. If they won't give you one...walk away. Sounds like someone is having trouble operating the company probaly paying Peter from Paul's money to get by.

Re: Sanderson Headers

FF3 GTS wont fit.
In my case they made contact with the motor mount and (c4) transmission on the passenger side. And made contact with the steering box and shock tower on the driver side.
FF6 went on without any issues.
Sanderson has always been a good company to deal with, and in my opinion make the BEST exhaust headers.
Good luck

Re: Sanderson Headers

bought two sets of headers from sanderson, neither fit my application. i then thought one side from each set might fit. sanderson didn't have a problem with that. turns out that didn't work either. i sent both sets back and got a full refund including shipping for both sets. i wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. quality of construction and coating looked first rate. i wish i could have tried the gasket less mounting system. full disclosure: i live in fl and have no connection to sanderson.
