comet front end swap help

well now i just bought a pinto front end, my dads budy works on cars and stuff and he told my dad the pinto front end is the same as the mustang II and he said he could make it work so my dad told me to buy this one we found and now another budy of mine is sayen you cant do that so idk what to if i cant use it im out on a 100 bucks has any one ever tried this swap a pinto front end in a 64 comet

I just did a stock mustang ii crossmember into a 65 falcon. Very easy to do once you notch the frame in the right place - just weld in.

yea can i get some pics i was reading up on it and they say the mustang II got there front susp fron the pinto and when u do the pinto swap people just say its a mustang II so i think its gonna work so
