weatherstrip installation question

What do you guys use to install the quarter window verticle seals and the vent window verticle seals. They come with these tiny little rivets, but I just don't see how I can install them. Do ya'll think a good expoxy would work??

Re: weatherstrip installation question

OK. Start by grinding off the heads of the old rivets and removing the junk...

Place the new strip in place and press a brass half hollow rivet through the hole and support it with a dolly block or a piece of metal sitting on a bench or the floor.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU PLACE THE CORRECT STRIP ON THE CORRECT WING.....

Make sure you use a punch with a sharp point that goes out rapidly, and not needle like. You are only trying to spread the top of the rivet.

Below is after a couple careful taps.

Then go to a FLAT tipped punch and tighten the rivet into place with a couple gently taps or until the rivet tightens up a bit, and you're done.

All three should turn out looking like this.
