Rocker assembly torque

I have added an adjustable rocker assembly from a '64 144 to my '68 170. What do you think the torque should be for the assembly, about 30 lbs??

30-35 ft lbs.

I used the torque values from the earlier installation. Which is a bit higher yet.

But before getting it tightened, bend back the arms, and measure the tip distances. If too great, it will clatter when using mush lifters. I had to obtain a set of longer pushrods. Then, make sure the torque to adjust each is about right, or they will loosen up on you.
