Fun barely describes it ... I'm so happy about how this car has turned out I can hardly describe it myself.
It's not really "Hot Rodded Out" per-say so it's extremely street and highway friendly.
But with the Cold Air Intake, 850 CFM Q-Jet, Edelbrock RPM Intake and RPM Aluminum Heads then out to the FPA headers and the 2.5" Exhaust with 3 chamber FlowMasters it breaths very, very well. Seems to take full advantage of the rather mild Crane Hydraulic Roller Cam. The Four Speed makes it a ton of fun from the driver seat. The 3.25:1 trac lok rear gives the Torqey 468 CID Motor plenty of leverage on the city streets and still allows for 15 to 16 MPG out on the open highway. And at 9.75:1 compression it runs happily on Pump Regular fuel.
1 1/8" front and 7/8" rear sway bars make it handle great even on the winding roads when we take it to Bishop CA for the Fall Colors Car Show.
A/C and the AM/FM CD with Power Amp and Seven Speaker Sound System make it a pure pleasure to spend time in.
We will be driving it to Buena Park CA next Month for Fabulous Fords Forever.
I tend to just pull into the driveway and get out thinking ...
