My friend in the passenger seat said that down that straight (Kirkby) we were hitting 110mph. Round the sweeping bend (Gerards) was still forth gear, down to third through the s (Dunlop Esses), then down to second for the hairpin (Shaws), third for the Devils Elbow (which is off camber makes me nervous) and then its back down the straight.
I don't look at the speedo my self. It takes all my concentration driving the car. It was only 20 minute sessions. I have great admiration for proper drivers who do it for an hour or hours.
