Re: Rolling down a mountain

That video actually looks like something computer generated like maybe a Xbox 360 game. Nothing about it looks real to me.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, it does look a little fake, if not just the graphics, who would really be dumb enough to do that, miles and miles of downhill road with no brakes to speak of.

Did you notice how he was a little over the centerline about two feet from the bike, and the bike didnt even respond. wasnt it a white line? shouldnt it have been yellow? Just some things i noticed

Re: Rolling down a mountain

not to mention that right at the beginning that guardrail on the said comes up to his ankles, so either the guardrail is to keep skateboards on the road or he is like 12 feet tall.

Could be real, but the computer generated gets my vote

Re: Rolling down a mountain

I don't really think it's been computer generated. Check out BuggyRollin® - 2003 for info on this.
If that is difficult to navigate, try this one:

Apparently, he can go 60 mph downhill.
He also reduced the # of wheels to 31 after a redesign of the suit a few years ago.

Re: Rolling down a mountain

Just because the video is pretty crappy quality doesn't mean that it's fake. Hell, street luge is an actual sport.... It wouldn't have taken much to adapt from that to this.... And is this any more crazy? At least in that suit you're wearing what pretty much amounts to a full exoskeleton. In street luge you wear spandex, that's pretty much it....

Re: Rolling down a mountain

....either way, street luge or this guy, you have to have some serious balls to do that....
