Just Jim's '62 falcon

Here's Jim's falcon making a pass at Irwindale. Ran a best of 7.42 that night and I believe a 7.44 on this pass 1/8 mile. Yes he did beat the tubbed nova which ran a 7.46 I believe.

Hope it works.

Sweet!!
Too bad they only run Irwindale on Thursday nights.....theres no way I can ever make it down there.
I would'nt mind seeing what the big red Torino could do.

Congrats Jim on blowing away those Novas!!

They run the Summit series on Sundays I believe. Don't know when though. Jim knows. I'd love to see the Torino make a pass there too! Sea level and usually a pretty sticky track according to the regulars. Way better than old LACR aside from the fact it's only an 1/8 mile.

The early nova Jim went against in the first video had a 502 big block chevy crate motor to his non stroked 351w. Both run all motor.

Only thing that went wrong on the falcon is that a window roller fell of the track and he couldn't get the driver's side window back up at the end of the night. He was joking with me that a topic about the window crank would get more attention than videos of him drag racing. lol
