Does he have a 5 sp? I've watched it several times and I'm sure he changes gears 4 different times or am I just seeing wrong?

According to his youtube questions he runs 11.21@ 120 in 4100 lb car. Leaves the line at 5000 shifts at 6000 traps at 6200. and thous were time trials against 9 second cars.

Thats great to watch, just what is it he keeps pressing on the column tho?
Just watched it again & it looks like the reset button on the tach, seems he's a little paranoid with it tho!
