Vortech Supercharger

1967 Mustang, 302, s-trim. Second time firing it up, need to do some more fab work in intake tube/hat, etc.

Nice. How many pounds of boost are you gonna run? What are your projected #'s?

Re: Vortech Supercharger

its running 9:1, hypo pistons so ill keep it under 10lbs. I'd like to get 450 to the rear if I can. Maybe some meth injection later down the line.

Re: Vortech Supercharger

Being only 10lbs of boost on a blow thru you most likley not need the meth as the fuel added threw the carb cools down the intake charge.

Nice project

I dont want to know how much its going to cost in the end. Figure the Kit, an $800 carb, upgraded fuel system, new ignition, etc.

The vortech kit is from a 90GT mustang. So im running serp belt, reverese water pump, new radiator, etc. So basically i've got a late model 5.0 front drive in a 67 mustang. Paxton (basically same as vortech) has a "bolt-in" kit for v belts.
