The Old Saying Is

Once you taste the dust of a dirt track you're hooked for life and it must be true as some Nascar drivers return to the dirt every chance they get.

Re: The Old Saying Is

There truely is nothing like dirt track racing. I am currently building a new hobby stock for my driver. Last one got put into the wall sideways at over 80mph, and concrete barriers don't move. Driver was fine, car not so much. D.S. of cage was pushed to the right almost to the clutch pedal, about 6-7 inches. But there is nothing like watchin a chassis and engine you built winning by almost 1/2 lap as the one i built did. And to see the guy that owns and drives it right after that, makes it worth all the time and effort!!!

BL: You would enjoy some conversation with tbirdchick. She has dirt running in her blood veins.
