"tons of fun" lol.... Yep!

Ran the car again last night and we got a 6.37 @ 108.9 and a 6.40 at 108.5. I think the car is in it's sweet spot now, so we're just gonna wash it and wait for Pinks all out next weekend.

It seems the car is not launching high into the sky as it was before....

How did you fix that? A gear change? New traction adjustment? Wider tires?

Those passes are on M/T slicks.

The launch calmed down a LOT when I built a stiffer rear spring pack, and added a rear sway bar.

Also limited the front end travel a little and that seemed to help as well.

545 ci 429 stroker. Ported Edelbrock CJ RPM heads. 11.9:1 compression. Pump gas. 251/260@ .050 solid flat tappet cam.

Stall speed is around 3000rpm. C6 auto. 3.89:1 detroit locker. narrowed,minitubbed, 29.5x10.5w-15 m/t slicks.

Leaf spring rear suspension. No traction bars.

Full interior, A/C, stereo, etc. A true streetcar.
