diggin' it. You're Falcon is 10X cooler than the pimped out "Night Rider" Comet. I'd eat the ass end out of a dead rhino for your Falcon. I especially like the sedan body over the hardtop. I love it.
I'm hoping that the trend for giant wheels and electronic doodads on classic cars will go the way of air shocks and tires sticking out 6 inches past the fenders.

Re: I want this BAD!!!
Some of the "new" car wheels don't look to bad on our "older" cars. I am running Muskrat 16" 10 spoke rims from the '05-up 6 cyl Muskrats.
To me they seem reminiscent of the 10 spoke Kelsey Hayes that were on the early Shelby's.
But again, each to their own.

Re: I want this BAD!!!
Hi all, from the owner of the Comet.
Thanks for picking up the video on the forum, and it's great to hear everyone's views. Obviously, it's awesome to hear that lots of people love it, but I also don't mind the criticsm -- I've learned that in the old car world, it definitely is "to each his own."
I had the Comet built to match my ideal car -- an old school body (the Comet being my favorite looking car of all time) with totally modern performance. As for the appearance, my goal was to strike a good balance and not have things look over-the-top. In person, I think the car meets that goal. For example, to me, 18-inch wheels are a great look on the higher-riding Comet -- we could've gone to 19, 20, or even larger wheels, but that's when things started looking off balance to me. As for performance, we definitely met our goals. The Art Morrison chassis makes the car handle like a new sports car (or pretty darned close) and the GT500 engine throws you back in your seat. And, just like a modern car, the parts can be serviced by any mechanic, including a dealer if necessary, wherever you find yourself -- even driving cross-country.
Anyway, I'm having a blast driving the car around and, again, I really appreciate everyone's comments.
Thanks and best,
Josh

By the way, here are two of my favorite pics of the Comet (the build just finished about a month ago):

Re: I want this BAD!!!
Well the craftsmanship and work are awesome. Now put some 15's on it! ....and a carburetor or two...... or maybe just get a new GT500.

Re: I want this BAD!!!
I like the 18's myself. I have them on my 68 and they look awesome. The Comet is bad ass. I would have picked a different steering wheel but I would guess that you picked that to match the wheels. I made the comment earlier about the fire sprinklers because I'm a sprinklerfitter by trade. I bet that makes you feel good to know your Comet is protected Welcome to the site.

Re: I want this BAD!!!
Those wheels look fine to me. It's typical pro touring styling. I myself am starting to look for a good 17" combo because I want to get some decent meats on my car and get rid of my pizza cutter 235 tires.
