tires and wheels for 68 XL

I'm interested in up sizing my tires and wheels. I don't have the original wheel covers, so I figured I'd go with mags. Were mags an option in 68 for the XL? I'm thinking 16 inch instead of 15... nothing crazy like today's street racers.

Also, can I get redline radials? I like the look, but I can't deal with bias ply tires on a daily basis.

A factory mag-type wheel cover was available, but I have never seen a mag. Coker tire should have Redline radials avaiable. There are 16" Torq thrust style wheels available that would look good on the car. I put a 16" Ford police car tire/wheel on my 70 Galaxie. It looked great and fit fine.
