knocking

i have a 390 bored .040 and it about 25000 miles and i seem to have a problem with it knocking when it gets warm, it doesnt knock when i get in it in the morning and start it up can anyone help me point it out im assuming its the connecting rod cuz it happens and engine speed and gets louder with engine speed and it runs perfectly except for that knocking sound the exhaist sounds perfect, no backfiring or nothing, i just need a second opinion on this to help me pinpoint it out.

Have you tried listening to the engine with a automotive stethescope to pinpoint the noise?

have you checked your engine mounts? If they are broken on one side they will knock like a bad rod. The engine rocks on one mount and clunks on the other.

and it still is knockin im suspecting the main bearing though, cuz i pulled the spark plug wire on the 7th cylinder and it went away and when i reconnect it there it goes again and its not the timing cuz i set that already and im gonna check the main bearing that i suspect next weekend maybe ill hav some luck and the motor mount i just had recently replace so its not that.
