is the blackpaint on the galaxie trim supposed to be gloss,sem-gloss, or flat.

i painted mine a gloss black it really helps bring the trim out

actually the original black was silkscreened in the inserts of ford trim

napa carries a spray can of trim black it goes on smooth and is in between a semi gloss and matte finish. Ive been experimenting on my 64 trim as i dont like the argent insert
