Raising rear

Have 3 link with track bar on my 9" with boxed control arms. After rebiulding the front end and new springs the car sits to high in the front.I new to raise the rear 2" and was thinking about using airbags. This way I can get also get more tire under it.As it is now the car has great weigh transfer but little traction. What do you think about using airbags and will I get 2" out of them?

i,ve got air bags in back of my merc.you,ll get you,r 2" but your not surposed to run that much pressure in them unloaded.think i,d just get new stiff coils at the right length.should fix both probs.should be cheap over there.

Why not just use airshocks? It's an easy install and 2" is no problem at all.

Airshocks were the first thing I thought about but they suck at the strip. With the bags I'm thinking I would need around 20lbs air which is alot to keep in all the time.
