63 cruisomatic

I have a 63 Fastback with a 390 and cruisomatic transmission. The car will roll when in park. Any suggestions on this? I would like to replace the cruiso with a C6. Anyone know of any problems associated with this. Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much for the information. As you can tell I'm a novice at this. This is a first time project for me, and any and all help is greatly appreciated. My brother had a 63 when I was nine years old and I loved that style, now 40 years later I finally own one and I am trying to get it in driveable condition.

I'm with Greg. I haven't gotten my linkage adjusted right *yet* since putting the engine in it in '84. Of course it sat most of the time after that til the last couple years. With the sloppy shift lever it makes it difficult to find that 'happy medium' but it's pretty close now.
