Anyone use compcams 270s solidlifter cam in a FE?

I was looking at the compcams 270s solid lifter cam kit for my 64 galaxie with a 390PI. Its gunna be used as a street/strip car. Any info would be nice.

Join the FE forum and ask your questions. Some very knowledgable engine builders and racers there. Post the complete specs for the motor and what you plan on doing with it and you will get many responses.

Do you run a auto trans or a stick?

Is the motor set up for a solid or hyd. cam?

Is an automatic and itsa solid lifter motor. Iam part of the Fe forum just latly i havnt been able to sighn in.
