traction bars...

While piddling on ebay, I found these. Could be a good deal for somebody with a mid-model Galaxie...DT? Chuck?

Those are pretty neat!

They would be pretty era correct too!


I get good traction with the stock set up and "sticky Mickys" but,I would consider those maybe?

traction bars...

I'm gonna bid on a set of them......they are "old school" cool and would help out for traction.....I do run a 4 speed so traction is more harder to come by.....

FX,I sorta doubt those would be the same.....of course they don't look they would be to hard to make work though.....such a simple design helps that.....

You bet! I'm gonna email the guy and get a length on em. I know the spring plate section will mount up to mine, I just need to see if it will come forward far enough to weld onto something besides the spring...

traction bars...

I can't see why they'd be of use on a '65-69 big car, all they'd do on the coil 3-link setup is cause bind.

On the earlier cars fabricating something from scratch would probably be easier than modifying those, IMO.
