Edelbrock intake and carb for 289?

Would an Edelbrock Performer 289 and a 600 CFM carb be a good choice for a factory 289 2bbl with a C4? Just like some power for intown cruising around. Thanks

well if its just a cruiser you'll get plenty from that setup, the e-brock stuff is pretty good and will flow better than your stock setup, and a 4bbl over a2bbl is usually an improvement. stay off the petal and u may see an improvement in gas milage, stay on and watch the needle drop. oh i would recomend uprading the ignition, better coil and all that will help with the improved breathing.
