C6 Swap

I stood my C6 up next to the MX and noticed that the position of the mount on the MX is significantly closer to the front than it is on the C6. I know the cross member is the same according to the pictures posted by 1967xlfastbackgalaxie on a previous post. What do I have to do? Reverse the cross member? That's the only thing that makes any sense. Someone please shed some light...THANKS!

On my 68 which had a FMX all I had to do was turn the cross member 180 degrees and the c6 mount lined right up.Hope this helps.

I love your rims [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_tup.gif[/img] , Are those Weld prostars or Centerline Telestars? I've got the Centerline ones on my 70 Elky & want to get a set for my 67 Monterey...

What size & backspace are yours, and what size tires are you running? I would think that 68 should be pretty much the same as 67...
