Clutch recomendations?
My preference is for the original Long-style pressure plate with three weighted release fingers. The gripping power increases with RPM, unlike a GM-style diaphram pressure plate that, if anything, tends to ungrip at higher RPMs. The Long style is adjusted for more pressure with heavier counterweighted fingers, adding no more pedal resistance, while the diaphram style pressure is increased with heavier springs... so you have a harder pushing clutch that frags your knee in daily driving.
Most clutch kits today are diaphram because they are cheaper to manufacture, but higher end kits can be gotten as Long or even Borg and Beck style.
good luck
