well i know it wouldnt be too hard to make from scratch. biggest thing would be the right aircleaner to start with. if you had one that the dual snorkles you could attach appropriate flexible duct hoses and route to radiator support. get a hole saw cut right size holes for ducts, and attach to rad support. or you can try a set up off of a 60-64 galaxie you can get all the parts at crites. http://www.critesrestoration.com/galaxie.htm

I seen one made out of A/C ducts ( frome home depot)
they used a cheep performance chrome ait filter( The kind with a base/open filter/top )they fit two duct fitings and used a strip of sheet metal to wrap around and seal off the rest of the filter . They then ran the duct to the were the High beam head light used to be added grills over the openings and they were done
Hope this helps . I can give you more details later, when I get home.

they used a 4" k/n element, but a paper one would work too.
It realy was an easy looking project. They spot welded the 4" a/c ducts ( they were 4" wide with a 3" dia. hose outlet)to a 4" strip of sheet metal ( or roof flashing for you home improvers) and added a strip beteen the ducts. so it was the ducts attached to the sheet meatal with a small srtip conecting them . I wish I could draw it for you.
Prior attaching the pieces they rolled them around a 5 gal bucket to form a circle to fit in side the air cleaner assebly leaving room for the element.
They determined were they wanted the hoses to enter and put it together, Pop rivits would work too.
If you want I can Draw it up and Fax it to you ( sorry no scanner ) send me a private messsage with your fax #

Another method to doing this would be to use the air cleaner from a 1982-1984 Mustang GT. They had a dual snorkel type of housing that works very well for ram air. I used this on a previous car I had (1978 Futura). I used flexible tubing such as dryer tubing to extend the snorkels to where the second set of high beam headlights were. This worked well; it added 3mph to my top end on the drag strip. I was very careful at the time to only make one change at a time and kept logs for everything. That modification resulted in a consistent e.t. improvement and MPH gain on the big end.

Some of the downsides to completing this modification this way is it is not something I would do to a show car... If you are going to drive the car on the street you need to change out your remaining headlights to a single light high/low beam system. Another area for improvement in my book was that the air cleaner could have used a taller filter but would have required modifications to the base to accommodate this.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

And yet another way... If you don't like all the dryer vent ducting in your engine bay... Take a tip from nascar.

Cut a hole into the air vent plenum on the firewall(make sure its above the heater core and actually into the plenum splace) at the base of the windshield- and then MFG a your air cleaner housing to connect up to that hole. Ready made cold air intake point, plus no ugly hoses routed through the engine bay.

Won't work if you have the AC box & ductwork mounted back there though... May take a little more fabrication, but would sure look a lot cleaner.
