Junkyard and ebay most likely.
I'm still watching for a header bow for my 64 so if I miss one on ebay let me know!

You may want to join the FGCoA, (Ford Galaxie Club of America). They have a resources book that give a list of everything Galaxie related, it may not have every product ont he market, but it probably is the most exhastive listing you will ever find in one publication. I don't know if you can get it without being amember, but from another point of view, if you are into Galaxies, why not join and reap the benefits. If you don't like it, then don't renew. Below are some sources for mainly 63 - 64 parts.

You can access the for sale or "corner store" I think it's called and see if anyone is selling the peices you need.

All good advice. That hood nose trim is a tough one. I haven't been able to find a new one from any of the restoration houses which sucks cause i need one too. are you sure you cant restore your stock piece? Another parts source for future reference is www.concoursparts.com. BTW Chris, that's a beautiful '63! Almost exactly the way I'm building my convert. Black with no chrome etc. Also 460/ C6. Do you mind telling me a little more about the car? I see you kept your stock hood. What motor mount method did you use for the 460? What intake and carb combo did you use to clear the hood? And how did you fill all the trim holes on the sides? weld or bondo?

Great job

thanx,darin.

the motor mounts a self made, and the intake is stock. I run a 650 edelbrock, after using a 750 carter. the carter had some defect,so i swapped it. no problem hood clearing... i plan to come to the us in november. do you think i could get some used bumpers from the junkyard and have them rechromed in mexico( then ship to germany), as chroming is rather expensive over here...

looking forward to seeing your gal here!!!!
