Where can I find a power brake booster for a 64?

Hey guys...~

Long time no see, been real busy....anyway...

Napa auto parts has been jerking me around on this booster.

Autozone you can get one. I needed the booster and master cylinder so bought the two together for like $129.00 or something like that. Seperate it would have been another like 40 bucks or so.

It's coming up like this on autozone, but no picture to verify what your getting...that makes me very nervous.
....price looks a little low, I'm seeing prices up around $140 - $150, with a $75 core deposit...any additional thoughts...did you use this ARI brand? I've never heard of them.

Try Booster Dewey in Portland, OR. He advertizes in Hemmings and the FGCoA magazine.

That's where I got mine, perfect match with my old one. I bought the booster and the master cylinder combo about 3 yrs ago and it was only like $120.00. Have had no problems with it at all.
Check the price on both also. As that's why I got both together, it was only a little more than just buying the booster. Didn't even know if I needed a master cylinder but figured it wouldn't hurt anyway. I don't know what the brand was though but I might have the reciept. I tried to keep all of them anyway.

Dogface, try brake supply in San Jose they can rebuild yours. phone is 408 292-1305 .
I have a booster that I was going to use . It seems to work, but you would have to test it

i found my reciept. It was $85.97 w/36.00 core. Cardone #50-9401 Booster w/master cylinder. I went to the site and they have the same one but now it's $100 but core remained the same. I bought mine in May 2001 though.
