Here is how far I have gotten. Once the front suspension is off the frame will get cleaned up and a coat of paint. As well with the firewall. All suspension pieces will look presentable also.

BTW, I plan on posting before and after pics. We will not be taking the body off the frame.

The disc swap is running around in my mind, But the thought needs new pads so it won't stop!

Kidding aside. The car has a completely new brake system on it. The prev. owner had all the reciepts. We will see just how bad/good they are and make a choice later down the road.

Time to go to my "Ebay's Anonymous" meeting.

(If I spelled the "A" word wrong. Blame it on Ebay!

Centerlines are a possibility. I have a complete set of Weld Rodlites too, Like Dyno Tom has/had on his 66. A buddy at work has a set of Center lines (8 inchers) that I might get to make another complete set +2. As of now we only have the front Centerlines.

We will not know that one either til she is about ready for the road too.

I had to edit who has rodlites...

Well, I have everything for the front end rebuild but one thing. The rubbers for the top of the front springs. Not a hard thing to get though. I hope to get started on the teardown within a few days!

Here is my Pop wiping down down the frame getting ready for the primer.

She is just about ready for the primer.

And here she is in all of her orangie glory.

Keep in mind we do not have the option of pulling the body off the frame right now. If we could, Oh buddy we would!
We are going to be using satin black for just about everything. I want to throw in some steel color here and there to break up all of this black that will be going on.
We have the lower control arms all cleaned up.The rest of the suspension is getting the cleaning/paint treatment as well. Oh there will be pics posted once that is ready.<IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_tup.gif">
