Check out the new cluster. I fabbed a piece of aluminum to put in instead of the plastic piece under the old speedo spot. The billit backing plate I bought on ebay.

Even though I wouldn't do mine like that I think it looks great. I'm one of them hate change or don't change it people. It is a great way to get all those gauges in though and not have them on the dash and under the dash.

I think the guy on ebay I bought the backing plate from is still selling them there. Then you need to get the gauges. I got some on ebay, some from summit racing. The prices vary depending on whether you get a good auction price. The small gauges are not too expensive new and come with senders. I think I would have gone with electric speedo if I was starting over. Large gauges are Autometer Arctic White, 3 and 1/8" and the small gauges are 2 and 1/16". I used a spare instrument bezel to get the center section right. I kept the old gauges in case I get a fit of nostalgia. I just didn't like the idea of having a set of gauges hanging off the bottom of the dash. You don't need to do anything to the stock bezel, no cutting or anything. The gauges come with brackets to secure them.

I think the backing plate sells for around $85 on ebay. He's been selling them for a while so a good chance of him still having some for sale now.

I guess I missed out on a money maker when I made the back piece for mine, should have made more Your set up looks nice and clean. I went a slightly different route by milling out the two pods and useing 3-3/8" speedo and tach, with old eyes bigger is better. My gauges cost around $550 and so far so good.

Like the guy who invented velcro. He knew to market it. I would never have thought of those burrs as nothing more than annoying.
Maybe your next trick you'll think to sell them. Who knows, I know I never think of that kinda stuff.

Did you re-paint the plastic? It looks really clean also.
