serious need of a complete trunk floor

I HAVE A COMPLETE CAR THAT I PICKED UP THIS WEEKEND AND IT HAS A GOOD TRUNK IN IT MINUS A COUPLE HOLES THAT COULD BE DRILLED OUT AND FILLED AND A LITTLE WORK NEEDED RIGHT ALONG THE TAILLIGHT PANEL.. I AM CONTIMPLATING PUTTING IT IN A 64 IM DOING AS A DAILY DRIVER, 5.0L HO EFI ROLLER AND AOD SWAP. I DO SHEETMETAL WORK ON THE SIDE AND CAN MAKE A GOOD PAN THAT ISNT GOING TO RESEAMBLE A FACTORY REPOP. I AM PLANNING ON GETTING RID OF THE CAR SOON AND THE ONLY HOLD UP IS "DO I CUT OUT THE TRUNK OR NOT" BEFORE I SELL THE CAR. IT IS A RUNNING AND DRIVING 351W FMX?, ORIGINALLY A 289 3 ON THE TREE FASTBACK, I HAVE THE TRANNY, GOOD FENDERS, LOWER GRILL, DOORS, ETC. BODY ITSELF HAS SOME ISSUES. IM IN ATL LET ME KNOW IF YOUR INTERESTED. LOOKING FOR A GOOD REAR BUMPER FOR A DRIVER, AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE. SORRY SO LONG WINDED. CHAD

IM NOT SO SURE A 63 FASTBACK AND A 64 ARE THAT MUCH DIFFERENT. GIVE ME A WHILE TO WORK THE BUGS OUT AND GET IT ON THE ROAD, SHOULD BE IN A WEEK OR TWO, AND KEEP IN TOUCH. STILL NOT SURE IF IM JUST GOING TO CUT THE ONE OUT OF THE DONOR FASTBACK OR NOT. CHAD

I got a '63 that has a good trunk floor. That I can cut out. But think it would cost too much to ship it from Calif.

Where are you in TN? I'm not positive on our route yet but we are leaving here about July 1st headed to Valdosta, GA and think our plans are to go through Atlanta, just not sure if we are going the Nashville to Chatanooga off 40 or if we are going 20 into Atlanta but if you don't find a floor pan by then we might be able to work something out so that you could meet somewhere when we know our route for sure and if you haven't found anything by then. I see 63ford406 now and then at the So-Cal Galaxies meetings when I make it to them so that part would be no trouble.

Deb

Well that sure is timing isn't it. We were trying for mid June but not enough manpower and too many rotating going to school so Don couldn't get leave any sooner. That's the military though. Hopefully by then you will have found a replacement or something. If not maybe there would be someone you know and trust that could do it for you. Where are you going to be for basic do you know?
