New chrome horn ring

Anybody know where I might find one of these for my 64?

Carpenter and O,donahue dont have them and I couldn,t see them on the Dearborn or Auto krafters sites.

Any suggestions for NOS or whatever?

I could get it rechromed but what about the center insert?

Talk about missing the last piece of the puzzle.

I'm not absolutely positive but don't think they are reproducing them yet. But I could have missed the latest also. They might have the center insert possibly. Your best bet is to keep an eye on ebay.

I bought one on Ebay. Not nos but has minor blemish in the chrome and a perfect center for $35.00. I have a 64 F/B. 500 with most everything else new. I thought that was a good deal..Ray

Thanks guys.

I think I might go the rechrome way.

The insert is like new so I,m halfway there already.

You,d think Carpenter would be repoing them seeing as they,ve done pretty much the rest of the dash, but they tell me they have no plans to make them at the moment.

Try CW Moss in Orange, CA. I bought a lightly used one there for cheap.

I got a quote from a restorer/electroplater guy.About $150 U.S.

Sounds a bit dear but he assures me the finished product will be better than new/show quality.

The grapevine say,s this guy does incredible work, hence the price tag.

He told me it has to be spot on cause its pretty much in your face every time you get behind the wheel.

Makes sense and I don,t mind paying for good work.
