Let me introduce myself

Hello all. Technically I am not a Galaxie owner yet. I have agreed to buy a 64 Galaxie 500 XL from my wife's uncle. However, I have to sell my Corvette first. THEN, I will buy it. I need less toys and more $$$.

The car is in great shape; baby blue, with wire wheels (hubcaps?) and spinners; fender skirts. Kind of a "lead sled" look about it. I would like to raise the rear a bit and put some chrome Cragar S/S mags on her and lose the fender skirts.

I have a brother-in-law with a bad ass 63 Galaxie. He has a bunch of performance stuff that he has used and then replaced with even higher performance stuff. So, maybe I can get a few more ponies out of her with a limited investment.
