do 69 door panels fit 70?

I mean the subject says it all, but do door panels from a 1969 Galaxie 500 2 door fit a 1970 XL 2 door?

I would say FIT ; YES; MATCH; NO. The panels could be adapted to work , but won't look right. If you can find a complete set do it. Not many people will know the difference. Only an expert like Greg C. will know.

I would probably modify 'em anyway, I just don't want to screw aroudn with the original ones and then if it doesn't work out like I want, well, I need to find matching ones! [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

The door handle setup is different, the '69 has a squeeze type while the '70 has a pull-out paddle
