Cobra Valve Covers

This may have been covered before, but I am still trying to find a solution. When I changed my manifold and carb on my 390, I put a set of Ford motorsport "Cobra" polished aluminum valve covers on my Gal. I have a breather on one side, and a breather grommet on the other, just as they came out of the box. I know they are prone to leak, but is there a way or a set up to keep it under some control? Thanks for the advice.

The side with the grommet should be hooked to the base of the carb with a pvc valve.

Rubber VC grommets are now available with a dogleg baffle built into em. I'm using one on the liner and the breather has not leaked oil at all. Makes adding oil a little slow, but the trade off is well worth it.
