It should have the C8AE-H, and they will run 70-72ccs stock. I have ccd quite a few and not had any that ran less than 70 cc uncut. Valve recession has a considerable effect on chamber volume, so if you have a cylinder or two with lower compression and no apparent leakage or loss of cam lift this might be the culprit.

Glad to help! I have been through a smackdown frame swap, body work and paint on my '65 Gal (the nastiest hantavirus infested piece of crap I could have taken on), built quite a few FEs (and other stuff), and have cared for and fed the '65 F250 4X4 through some wild and wooly fun. Can't say I'm smart, just like a wood chipper

Come to think of it, why am I messin' with cars, they hate me!

Right on Bill!

Could you be so kind to email me some pics of your Gal? I have a folder that I keep stocked full for help and ideas. I would appreciate it!

I don't have much in the way of pics, just a couple of scans I did after paint and before I put the trim on. We moved after the frame swap, and I have the pictures from that in storage. Heaven knows where I will try to pull some together and scan them. I need to get a digital camera, my daughter can do better with her cellphone than I can with my old Pentax.
