Fender eagle barrel clips help

After looking at the new fender eagles I got from Crites several years ago and the 3/16" clips I got from Donohue, I beg to ask if they'll work together. The 460 emblems have a skinnier post compared to the old ones, just wondering if anyone had done this. Or do I have to get smaller clips? Any input would be appreciated as always.

I found some that are for the 1/8" post (size on Crites emblems) for a 3/16" hole, I think I'll just order these from Auto Krafters or Dearborn Classics.

Go to an auto parts store that carries small body shop supplies. Get some small speed nuts.

Ya, I think I'll hit one up in the morning. I actually am having a hard time with the rear F O R D on the trunk too, they don't fit right the first time and are too loose there after, so I may put silicone in them too for strength. I measured the fender eagle holes and now are closer to 1/4", so I don't know what's up any more.

I got some barrel clips from auto zone check with them.

I'm going to try and find some that sre like the hood letter ones, slide on from the back and the teeth grab and hold the further it goes down, no backing off unless turned.
