I will be, and that one caught my eye as well. The only other ones I've been looking at are the Zirgo and Spal. My problem will be mounting it because the water pump snout sticks out close to the rad so I will have to run on one side or the other a bit.

Are you guys going to eliminate the stock fan, or use the electric fans in addition to the stock fan ?

I'm running one of these Taurus fans on my TR6 with a 302. Solved all of my cooling problems. It is pretty thin and the motor is offset. I don't think it will work as a pusher.

I added a pusher fan on my 68XL as insurance when stuck in traffic. I operate it manually with a switch mounted under the dash. I have never seen the hot light flicker yet.

ditch the factory fan and mount in back of rad, I installed a 16" 21+CFM electric fan and a 160 deg T-stat and now running a little too cool and need to go up to a 185 deg.

The only thing I would do different is try an S blade fan. They are said to be a little quieter.

I put one of the Summit fan and shroud puller type kits on my 61 and I could not keep it cool for nothing. It would just slowly keep getting hotter and hotter. I **** canned the shroud and installed this fan in the 16" size and presto instant cool. This onlt problem I had was that it would heat up to about 195 before the thermostat would turn it on then it would cool back down to 175 (The Thermostat setting). I changet to an air type senson attached to the rad and now is only changes about 10 degrees from when it turns the fan on.

One other thing, my engine is a warmed over 428 and when the fan does come on it will generally stay on even at speed. I may one day try a small water pump fan in addition to the electric to see if I can get it to turn off while at crusing speed?
