Water Leak

I have a water leak somewhere on the passenger side of my 64. I thought it might be the windshield rubber, but there doesn't seem to be any water running down the firewall or behind the kick panel. It only wets the carpet next to the door. This leak occurs when the car is parked and it is raining. any ideas? Thanks.

Water Leak

Drivers side door rubber or the windshield rubber. Those are the only two things that let water into your cab at that location.
Very hard to see if the windshield rubber is leaking but easy to tell if it's that.
When it is not raining, run the garden hose across the windshield ONLY (Insulate the door from the water) if it don't leak inside then you have a door frame seal issue, if it does you likely have aged and cracked windshield dope and need a refresh.

Water Leak

I've got the exact problem with my 62 four door Galaxie. I think that the weatherstriping on the door seals shrink as they harden and dry out and it lets water in. I've taken to putting a sheet of plastic clipped to the roof rail and draped over the door frame and underneath my not too waterproof car cover. It's doing the trick.

Water Leak

Try covering the cowl vent grill and if that stops the leak you will need to pull the rt fender and repair the cowl drain
