Need A Fender Emblem

I'm missing one of the "Galaxie 500 XL" emblems from the front fender of my '65.
If anyone knows where I might find one please let me know.
I may even take a non XL emblem just to fill the empty holes till I can find the correct XL emblem.

People do a lot of crazy things to find gold. Good luck, because that is what you are looking for! I have a 65 as well.

Every 6 months or so I post that I'm still looking in case someone sees one.

I thought they'd be quite common.

I found a set missing two pins on ebay to do the same thing, FILL THE HOLES. I believe I got a great dead, hve seen them go for over $100.

True words, all of them. And I can't offer any help.

You'd think those emblems and letters would be an easy find. My '66 has GALAXIE 500 spelled out with individual letters across the rear fenders on both sides. I suppose a single script piece would have survived better than multiple plastic pieces.

I even considered having some made, but gave that up when I stumbled across a set while looking for something else in a junk yard.

i was wondering about the lower fender emblems , as if they were even an option in 1965. cause im rebuilding a galaxie with a 390 in it and i was wondering if there are 390 emblems available and would it be correct ?

Those emblems are easy to find.
Many of the resto parts places sell them and I see them on E-bay all the time.

I dont think so. The 65 emblems arent offered by anyone last I checked. I need the 65 390 emblems. I have seen them on ebay for $100 damaged.

Maybe it's the 352 emblems I keep seeing.
