In the video...take note of the header primary pipes under the Galaxie.

Unless I am way off base, those appear to be Crites "Litening Bolt" headers or real close to the same design. Much unflattering rumor, gossip, mis information has been spouted alledging how close to the road they are, that they would be destroyed after the first bump in the road or when the car comes back on the suspension under acceleration. As you can see, that is not true - nor are they a problem - when used in the correct application.

Granted...They would not be my first choice for headers if I lived off the pavement on a rutted country road, or had to negotiate some humongous speed bumps, like you see in some ritzy neighborhoods or apartment complex lots.

For a bracket car or an engine which needs the large pipes to exhaust a heavy-duty BBF, at a real world price - they do the job pretty well.

Winning...Over a Viper - Does a body good! (10.9's ain't bad!!)

Thats cool that big boat out running a car worth a 100 grand. A viper will run 12.20s stock. 10.90s is fast for that big old car!

Slick. Nice BIG Ford.

When looking at the other videos in that area, I found this:

Have you ever seen video showing each cylinder firing? Wow.

I run the same headers on mine and yes they do hang too low.Going from a sb to a bb I did not change front springs and I smashed 2 tubes do to the 3" of ground clearance.Installing bb front springs took care of the problem. On a side note I had mine coated this year and welded a skid plate on the tubes going under the cross member just in case.

Very cool video...I don't know; looking at the video I think that what your looking at is the oil pan...not the headers that run under the frame. I have seen some cars at shows with those and in my opinion they are to low. I also noticed some long "ladder type" control arms on the axle...you can see them right at the end of the burn out. I only hope someday mine wil be that fast.
