Emblem Clips

I picked up a couple "Galaxie 500" front fender emblems for my '65. (no, I still haven't found XL emblems)
What kind of clips are used on the small studs to hold the emblems on the car?
Thanks,

RR

Barrel clips you can find them at some old parts store's, there are a couple of different sizes.

I would plan and use a few different ones depending on what works. It's like my trunk letters, the clips provided work like sh-- so we used ones like on the hood that push on and have teeth to not back off. They hold the letters on very tight now.

I hate using barrel clip for any emblems, pressing the clips into place allows for a good chance for paint to chip around the holes. I used flat nuts for all of my emblems, once you press them on they stay tight and no paint damage. The only limitation is that you need access to space behind the emblem in order to install them.
There is a picture of them at Dearborn Classics:

Cool suggestion, I'll have to use this for my fender eagles. Originally having about 1/4" hole for each of the 3 studs, no problem, for my 390 emblems. My 460 ones have a 1/16" stud and I haven't been able to attach them, those plates will work just fine.
